Week 92- It Doesn’t Matter Where You Serve, But How

Scriptures:

Matt 28: 19-20

John 21: 15-17

D&C 4

D&C 80

D&C 123:12-13

General Conference Address:

“Called to the Work” Elder David A Bednar CR 4/2017

Thought:

You are called to serve and THEN assigned to labor in certain areas. As needs arise and circumstances change, so might your field of labor or calling. Where you serve is of little consequence and out of your control. How you serve matters and is 100% in your control. Don’t get hung up on where you serve, just serve well!

Misc:

“President J. Reuben Clark Jr. (1871–1961) of the First Presidency taught: “In the service of the Lord, it is not where you serve but how. In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, one takes the place to which one is duly called, which place one neither seeks nor declines.” In Conference Report, Apr. 1951, 154

Invitation:

Write down 3-5 things you can do better this week than you did last week. Pick one and make a plan to do better this week. Record your plans and results in your journal.
