Thought:

It’s easy to forgive someone whom we love.  It’s easy to show kindness and charity to those who have been kind and charitable to us.  The test comes when we need to forgive someone whom we might have a hard time loving or don’t know yet, who hurts us or those we love.  The test comes when we need to show kindness and charity to those who have, do, and would continue to use us, harm us, or betray us.  And yet, is this not the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Seek the title of “Stone-catcher” and never succumb to the temptation to be a “stone-thrower” 

Invitation: 

Define what it means to you to be a stone-catcher. Make a list of 3-5 attributes that you could adopt to be better at it.  Pick one and practice it for a week. Write about it in your journal when the week starts and again at the end.  What did you discover?
