Thought:

It's easy to forget that behind every face–happy, sad, broken, healthy, kind, mean, or even unresponsive face, is a spirit who knows the truth and once rejoiced at the chance to get a body and come to have a mortal experience. Try to see that spirit.  Try to find and connect to that spirit. Try to bless that spirit. The body might not thank you today, but their spirit will eventually.  

Misc:

If you feel like sharing resources with someone who is in need, consider asking them to pray for you and your family. It helps them give something back and maintain dignity.  And you can certainly use their prayers on your behalf!

Invitation: 

Do all that you can to notice and interact with those who have physical or mental disabilities. Many of them have NO FRIENDS outside of their own family and caretakers.  Even if blind, deaf and mute, you can connect with the spirit inside of that body. Do it! Just be there. Try to engage them. Do it.
