Thought:

Can someone truly be free (or fully appreciate it) if there is no opposition in their life? Will anyone be able to grow without resistance? It violates the laws of nature and heaven to grow without exercise (resistance is required). 

Misc:

Growth comes through strain, effort, refueling, persistence, and even intentional rest. Transformations come through heat and pressure. It is unrelenting heat and pressure that turn coal into diamonds. 

Invitation: 

Identify 3-5 ways that you’ve experienced or seen someone experience a transformation. What did it take for them to transform? What are some things you’d like to transform in your life or in the life of one of your friends? Identify the heat and pressure it will take for that to happen.
