Thought:

People won’t be “convinced” that the gospel is true, that Jesus is their Savior, or that they have been redeemed. They have to feel it and learn it by the power of the Holy Ghost. Those feelings and that knowledge come in part as we consider on and internalize the virtue of the Word of God. Find it, absorb it, feast upon it, live it, and then share it and watch how powerful it can be. 

Misc:

The virtue of the word of God can have two meanings. “The Word” as in Jesus Christ the person, and “the word” as in the teachings of Jesus Christ. “Elder David A. Bednar recently taught that 'one of the names of Jesus Christ is ‘The Word’' and that 'the teachings of the Savior, as recorded in the holy scriptures, also are ‘the word.’” Ibid 

Invitation: 

Write down 3-5 ways that you could get the word of God deeper within you. Is it memorizing favorite verses? Reading more about Jesus? Studying and defining his names? Make a plan to get the word of God deeper within you and then share that plan with someone.
