General Conference Address:

“Do Justly, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly with God” Elder Dale G Renlund, CR 10/2020

Thought:

Humility. Justice. Mercy. Love. Honor. Beauty.  These are all traits of those choosing to live the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pride. Prejudice. Revenge. Anger. Hate. Lust. These are traits of the natural man and one who lives without boundaries.

Each day we choose which person we’re becoming—A disciple of Jesus Christ or a natural man. Choose justice, mercy and humility and you’ll soar. Choose anything else and you’ll sink. But a loving father gives us the chance to choose because for it to truly change us, we have to participate in the process.

Misc:

“To do justly means acting honorably. We act honorably with God by walking humbly with Him. We act honorably with others by loving mercy.” ibid

Invitation:

Review the last week for a time when you could have walked more honorably, been more humble or shown more mercy. Write what you could have said or done instead of doing what you did. Make a plan for doing better this week.
