Thought:
Know -> Do-> Be
The scriptures and words of the prophets help us to know about Christ and his gospel. But knowing isn’t enough. Even the devil and those spirits who follow him know that he is the Christ. It doesn’t change them. For change and conversion to happen, we have to consistently do what Jesus taught. We have to live the gospel. That’s when change can begin to happen. But we have to let it change us. You can, and many people have, done church things without being converted. Doing is necessary, but it isn’t enough. The doing, combined with willing submission and subordination, is what helps us become like him. And that is the ultimate goal. Moroni 7:48
Misc:
You cannot teach someone into conversion. They have to act. That is why you must become a master of making invitations and helping people see them through.
Invitation:
Never leave a gospel conversation without making an invitation. Make a list of 5-10 invitations that you could make to anyone, from a stranger on the bus, to your companion, to your mission president, or to the prophet himself. Someone will thank you one day for making such bold invitations because they will act on one, and it will change their life.
